Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2024 — Revision 01

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Beldova website located at beldova.info and the nutritional consultation services offered by Beldova (“we”, “us”, “the practice”), a nutritional consultation practice registered in Romania.

By accessing the website or engaging Beldova consultation services, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use this website or engage our services.

These Terms should be read alongside the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, both of which form part of the agreement between you and Beldova.

2. Service Description

Beldova provides individual nutritional consultation services encompassing dietary assessment, personalised eating-plan development, food choice guidance, and ongoing review sessions. Services are delivered from the practice premises at Bulevardul Dacia nr. 58, Sector 1, 010413 Bucharest, Romania, and where agreed, through remote formats.

Beldova products are nutritional food-supplements registered with the applicable local regulatory authority under food-supplement classification. Products meet compositional and labelling requirements for nutritional supplement categories.

Consultation services and any associated food-supplement offerings are designed for adults seeking dietary guidance to support a varied and balanced nutritional approach. We recommend speaking with a qualified wellness or nutrition professional before introducing any supplement to your daily routine, particularly if you have specific dietary requirements.

3. Scope of Consultation Services

Nutritional consultation services provided by Beldova are delivered within the scope of nutritional and dietary guidance. The practice operates within the framework of Romanian food and nutrition advisory regulations.

Consultation sessions involve the review of dietary intake records, food preference documentation, and activity context. Outputs include written eating plans, food-choice guidance documents, and periodic revision notes. All outputs are produced by the practice principal and are specific to the information provided by the client during the intake and review process.

The programme does not encompass activities that fall outside the scope of nutritional and dietary advisory practice. Clients with specific dietary requirements arising from conditions requiring specialist management are advised to seek appropriate specialist guidance alongside any consultation engagement with Beldova.

4. Booking and Session Arrangements

Consultation sessions are arranged following an initial enquiry submitted through the contact form at contact.php or by telephone at +40 21 312 8690. Session availability is subject to the practice schedule, which operates Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 18:00.

  • Cancellations: where a client needs to cancel or reschedule a confirmed session, at least 48 hours notice by email or telephone is requested. Late cancellations may forfeit the session fee where applicable.
  • Intake documentation: clients are asked to complete a dietary intake review in advance of the first session. The quality of the consultation output is in part dependent on the completeness and accuracy of the information provided.
  • Programme duration: standard programmes run across a defined number of sessions agreed at the outset. Individual session frequencies and programme lengths are set out in the programme agreement confirmed with each client.

5. Fees and Payment

Consultation fees are communicated to prospective clients during the initial enquiry stage and confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of a programme. Fees are denominated in Romanian Leu (RON) unless an alternative arrangement is confirmed.

  • Payment is due as agreed in the programme confirmation, either per session or in advance for programme packages.
  • Fees are subject to periodic review. Updated fee schedules take effect from the start of the following programme period for existing clients.
  • Where a programme is discontinued at the client's request after sessions have commenced, completed sessions and associated preparation work will be invoiced at the per-session rate applicable to the package taken.

6. Client Responsibilities

Accurate and complete information is essential for the production of a useful nutritional plan. Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate dietary intake records, food preferences, and activity information as requested during the intake process.
  • Disclose any food allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary exclusions relevant to the preparation of an eating plan.
  • Attend scheduled sessions at the agreed time, or provide adequate notice of cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Use the website lawfully and refrain from activities that may disrupt or interfere with the website's operation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content published on the Beldova website — including text, layout, graphic elements, methodology documentation, and eating plan templates — is the intellectual property of Beldova and is protected under applicable Romanian and EU intellectual property law.

Personalised eating plans, intake assessments, and revision documents produced during a consultation programme are prepared for the specific client and may be used by that client for their personal use. Redistribution, resale, or publication of these documents without the written agreement of Beldova is not permitted.

Website content may not be reproduced, scraped, or reused for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Beldova.

8. Limitation of Liability

Nutritional consultation services and eating plans produced by Beldova are based on the information provided by the client at the time of the session. Beldova does not warrant that any specific outcome will result from following a nutritional plan. Individual responses to dietary changes vary and depend on factors beyond the scope of dietary guidance alone.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Romanian law, Beldova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of consultation outputs or from the use of the website. Beldova's liability for direct losses is limited to the fees paid for the specific session or programme from which the loss arose.

The Beldova website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will be free of interruption or error, and we accept no liability for loss arising from temporary unavailability of the website.

9. Website Use and Acceptable Conduct

Users of the Beldova website agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its associated systems.
  • Introduce malicious software or attempt to disrupt the operation of the website.
  • Use automated scraping tools or bots to collect content or data from the website without prior agreement.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through the contact form or during the consultation intake process.

Beldova reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any user or client who breaches these usage requirements.

10. Third-Party Links and Resources

The Beldova website may contain references to or links towards external resources, including published research summaries and sourcing reference pages. Beldova does not control the content of external websites and accepts no responsibility for the accuracy, availability, or policies of those external resources.

The inclusion of an external reference does not constitute an endorsement of that source by Beldova. Users follow external links at their own discretion.

11. Amendments to These Terms

Beldova reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments are effective from the date the revised Terms are published on the website. The revision date at the top of the page indicates when the Terms were last amended.

For clients with ongoing programmes, material changes to Terms affecting the service engagement will be communicated directly by email. Continued use of the website or continuation of a programme after revised Terms have been published constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Beldova consultation services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.

Where a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication in the first instance. Contact the practice by email at [email protected] or by telephone at +40 21 312 8690.
